Maslenitsa has successfully passed. Grandmothers even didn’t ask what we’d like to taste, but smeared hot pancake, just taken from a pan, with honey, jam, sour cream... no matter. Crepe mountains arose on the plates. And they went out like fragrant beauties not only from grandmother's arms.
Every place, which possesses even distant kind of kitchen, turned to a pancake shop this week. Everyone tried to bake as much crepes as possible, to try as much tasty fillings as possible, to learn as much new receipts of bliny as possible. Even American pancakes were spared. But the most popular table guests still were your favorite and traditional Slavic bliny, which could be found in Kiev on every corner.
