Jay-Jay Johanson returns to Kiev with a solo concert

On February 2, the melancholic romantic JJ-Johanson will play a concert at the Caribbean Club Concert Hall in Kiev. The Swedish musician will please his fans with the best songs in 23 years of creative activity. Masterfully weaving downbeat and trip-hop with pulsating electronics, JJ Johanson created his own personal music brand that responds to the melancholy of noir films.
The debut album of the musician Whiskey was released back in 1996, the next, Tattoo - in 1998. Robin Katri, guitarist and founder of the Cocteau Twins band, took part in the recording of the third record Poison (2000), and she took high positions in charts across Europe. At the same time, Johansson wrote the soundtrack for the film La Confusion des Genres (dir. Ilan Durand Cohen) and created the Cosmodrome video-music installation, which was first presented in Dijon.

In 2006, Johansson, together with the band The Knife, wrote and recorded the track Marble House for their album Silent Shout, and then began work on his own record The Long Term Physical Effects. JJ Johansson's latest album Bury The Hatchet was released in the fall of 2017.
In the first days of February, JJ will return to Ukraine to warm you with his music.
