January 27 Art-gallery Manufaktura will present the exhibition Light and shadow of Le Bo de Provence or imitation of Iris to the Kyiv viewer. Her author - one of the brightest representatives of contemporary Ukrainian fine arts - Andrei Gladkyi. The basis of the exposition is a new series of works of the painter, created during the last few years of his fruitful work.
Inspired by the powerful light-colored contrast and the incredible colorful effect of nature in the south of France, the artist seeks to translate it into his paintings. He explores his work of figurative properties of painting, expanding his broader possibilities.
Based on a solid foundation of academic knowledge, his creativity is intellectual and demonstrates the mastery of material. At the same time, it is modern and attractive with its innovation. page1.png
Gladky's dynamic expressionism is clearly structured and pictorially organized in abstract forms that affect their scale and figurative expressiveness.
Andriy Gladkyi is a follower of the Kharkov School of Painting, a graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute. The artist is a participant of all-Ukrainian and international creative projects (Poland, Germany, France), author of several personal exhibitions, one of which was held in the USA. His works are in private collections both in Ukraine and abroad (USA, Germany, Poland).
