Color impressions - Exhibition of Ruslan Ivaschenko

On November 17, the “Manufactura” art gallery invites to the exhibition of the artist Ruslan Ivaschenko, called “Color impressions”. Ruslan Ivaschenko - a follower of the traditions of the European school of impressionism.
The exhibition includes more than 30 works of the author in the genres that are classical for impressionism: landscape and still life.
Inheriting the traditions of style, the artist seeks to capture the moment and fleeting emotions from what he saw. A wide manner of writing, loosely laid on canvas, rich strokes give his paintings a special mobility. The speed of writing, expression and dynamics create the effect of a living canvas. And the spectators are participants in the action taking place in the picture: they follow the motley crowd of passers-by, become part of the megalopolis living in its chaotic rhythm, feel the gusts of wind and grass fluttering, inhale the scent of flowers, hear the sound of the sea and the cry of gulls.
The artist masterfully creates images using one or two touches of the brush, deliberately leaving a feeling of slight incompleteness. An important factor in his work is the emotional impact of color. In landscapes, he focuses on color and light interactions.
The painter prefers to work in the open airs. Paintings created in open space, transformed by moving all-pervading light.
Ruslan Ivaschenko was born in Yalta in 1986. He studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. He graduated from the magistracy at the faculty of painting. The artist lives and is engaged in creativity in Kiev.
The works of the painter can be seen at exhibitions in our country and abroad. His paintings are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, China and the United States.
